Sunday in Hong Kong feels much like any other day with its bustling urban sprawl during the day and Bladerunneresque neon blaze by night.
We met up with our Digital Pioneer HK counterparts for lunch today atop the Peak, HK’s tallest mountain. They are a great bunch of people and I’m looking forward to getting to know them. Kwai Bun runs the fantastically named Many Many Creations, Wallis Wong from 3 Dynamics had interesting things to say about Cyberport, where he is based and Amy Tsang of jidou had us laughing about looking low resolution because we were jet-lagged!
Then it was off for some shopping and a walk around the city, taking in a few electronics stores to check the prices. Because there are so manufacturers of electronics based nearby, branded goods from Sony and Samsung are easy to find at rock-bottom prices.
After saying our goodbyes it was off into Mong Kok and Central to get lost and take photographs.
