Summer seems to be upon us for a short while, so I took a few minutes out of the day to find some nice bokeh in and around Moseley/Kings Heath on my way into work.
Then, at lunch time I popped into the Ikon Eastside, where Massimo Bartolini has an exhibition on at the moment. One of the pieces consisted of a large tank of what appeared to be thick black oil oscillating in a standing wave with a wavelength that was exactly the length of the tank. Suspended in the middle of the tank was a single spherical light that was dipped in the liquid as the liquid oscillated up and down. Quite mesmerising. The images don’t do it justice.
Then, later that evening I grabbed a couple of portraits of two of my fellow conspirators on the Creative Republic project - Jemima Cattel and Karl Binder.
