Create something day 4: A Certain Ambiguity

10thAug. × ’07

Ah, well it was bound to happen. I got busy. Yesterday I was in the office until 9.30 working on multiple things, and this morning, down to a mistake by a colleague of mine, about six hours work was undone by and accidental “oops I deleted a file”, and a check-in-check-out slip-up. Such is life (this isn’t what I was saying at the time, I can assure you).

So this morning, I really didn’t feel like posting anything, so I’m doing it now, bizarrely overlapping today’s ‘do something’ project.

So, what do I have to show for another 24 hours?

The news today is that Penguin Books’ Indian branch have decided to use one of my Flickr photos in the cover of one of their books - A Certain Ambiguity by
Gaurav Suri & Hartosh Singh Bal. It’s a mathematical novel based on a narrative around the understanding of infinity. Certainly seems right up my street, so I agreed to them using the image:

Ambiguity

Great photo and I like what they’ve done with it.
