The other highlight of this year’s Artsfest for me was the Architects of Air piece in Eastside called Levity II. It is an inflatable maze-light light environment which uses contrasting semi-transparent and opaque plastics to create spaces that consist of one or more prime colours in a series of adjoining curved ‘rooms’.
When I was about eight I went to something similar on the South Bank in London and it is one of my best memories. I seem to remember that everyone who went in wore prime-coloured smocks to add to the feeling of entering some kind of science fiction post-apocalyptic utopian space bubble. I guess in the interests of getting more people in and out (I couldn’t get back in on Sunday because of the one hour queue) they don’t do that any more, but either way it was a wonderful experience and my daughter loved it (almost as much as me!)

Didn’t see this at the weekend, but we went in something similar in Liverpool two years ago that involved wearing the primary colour smocks. It could be the same one you remember from the South Bank. A couple of weeks later it broke from its moorings and two people were killed.
Wow…these pictures are amazing. There is a completely different culture down here in Puerto Rico…big difference from the California life Summer and I lived just last year!
I think will name my first son after you
