Thank you for sharing, although I have to say the extract from the paper lost me rather. Did you know that Birmingham has a connection to the Large Hadron Collider? The University of Birmingham is team leader for one part of the project - developing a sensor that selects and records interesting collisions (well, that's how I understood it anyway!). As a result I'm off out there in December (with photographer) to walk through the tunnel. Perhaps the most exciting job I've ever been sent on! That’s amazing and beautiful!
