Missed it live but caught it later that evening. Really good way of involving everyone and really liked the 'live' unedited feel of the whole conversation. 7 and 15 would be cool if we're voting.

It was really interesting to be a part of that, thanks for broadcasting it. Its true that the online discussion was sometimes a bit of a distraction, but at other times we were having a discussion relevant to what was being discussed on camera, and it was great to have Jo acting as a "filter", selecting the best comments and questions to relay into the offline conversation. I think it probably worked better than if all 7 of us were physically present; something tells me that it would have been much less civilised (!) and potentially less interesting.

After being the first to suggest you post your backblog for us to vote on, I'm now going to disappoint you by not being able to choose between them, they all look quite fascinating. Maybe you could do some of them as podcasts, perhaps as a part-scripted conversation with somebody, if that's quicker? Or just take a few days off work and write all of them ;)

Hiya Stef,

Watched this live because as well as being interested in the content, I thought it would be a good introduction to Bambuser for me.

The discussion was really interesting but I found the online chat a bit distracting and it did deteriorate into school playground on several occasions. Been thinking about solutions to this. Perhaps if all of the live participants could see the online chat, people would keep their comments more focussed? I guess this would be too distracting for speakers as thought processes would be interrupted while reading comments? Not sure what the answer is really.

Another thing was that there is an audible alert on Bambuser when someone enters an online comment. Not sure if it's poss to turn those off but still keep the presentation audio.

Oh yeah and I agree that it would have been nice to see all of the speakers.

Anyway, overall a positive experience :)

I'd vote for 10, 12, 13, 15 & 23. And 20 I guess.

Hmm, my preference for 'how to's and practicalities over conceptualising is showing.
