I For me (and this may be blog sacrilege) I'm not sure I need to know all this information instantly, however interesting and informative it is. I have actually listened to this podcast (though it did involve me going into my bag, getting my headphones out and crawling on the floor to find the headphone socket in my work computer - check out my commitment to debate) and I'm really interested in the more longer term, digested stuff that you and Pete talked about producing as a result of your trip over the next six months or so. As Tom says, in the meantime a little Twitter update or brief daily update would suffice... Having said that, it all looks interesting and, maybe with my relitively small knowledge of the technical side of things I'm not really the target audience... Have a safe trip back! Your podcasts will be a useful way for me to catch-up actually and given I've got plenty of tedious long runs planned that's what I'll do. Is there a single feed for them yet? I presume not. If there was a way for me to subscibe to them in itunes that would be very good. In the meantime I'll track them down through the posts. Can see what you're saying about putting a rough draft up on the internet because there's no time. I would just say a twitter update or a very brief blog post would be more likely to get my attention. Again this is just me talking personally, as Paul Bradshaw posted in his comment on my blog, it's a matter of convenience. Was just inspired by PB's writing on scannability - with fickle web browsers the interface really is key IMO and audio/video to me seems the antithesis of scannability. Also, this will sound like I'm taking the piss - but if you're looking record a conversation into an easily-transcribed format try learning shorthand, it's great! (obviously this only applies to two or fewer of you, and you might know it already). Anyway, have a good trip back! Can you send this to me by email? ;). You have got more content from SXSW than I've managed to get in all the years I've been doing my research. That's mainly because people won't let me record them because it's all too confidential but still... Something to think about anyway... For the future!
