This weekend Emily and I spent some time relaxing and walking in Cannon Hill Park in Birmingham. While I was in Hong Kong I bought us a new lens and we’re both really happy with it. If only it was as easy to buy some more spare time!

I’m starting to find other people blogging SXSW… first up it’s Coline Devroe who’s already finding out about free beer and t-shirts!
There’s a Flickr group for photos, and the sxsw2007 and sxswi tags are already top ten on Flickr. The thing hasn’t event started yet!

A well executed and interesting combination of facial recognition technology and viral marketing for genealogy website myheritage.com
I bet the return on investment on this project has been fantastic for them. Another example of how US companies are leading the way on using viral to get their products exposure.
